Deeply influenced by the Wynton Marsalis septet, this ensemble doesn’t just play one style of jazz, they aim to honour all of it by covering every sub-genre.

Led by Tom Stringer, a rising jazz trumpeter, composer, and arranger based in London who draws inspiration from the expressive trumpet styles of Booker Little and Wynton Marsalis, as well as the compositional brilliance of Thelonious Monk, Kenny Wheeler, and Duke Ellington, Tom is developing a distinctive voice in both his improvisation and compositions, while under the mentorship of esteemed musicians Byron Wallen, Steve Fishwick, and Laura Jurd.
